God Will Provide All Your Needs

God Will Provide

So how does one qualify for the incredible promises that God has made for us? Are you questioning whether God will provide for you or if God will protect you? Is it only for the select few that God chooses? Is it God’s choice at all? Or is the invitation open to any and all. And if it is, how does one qualify for it?

Background

In the old testament, the book of Psalms was written by King David, the second King of Israel. His back story is amazing but I won’t get into that now. Let it suffice to say that He did some really awful things when He was king, but all the time retained a close relationship with God, so that at the end of his life, God refers to David as “A man after God’s Heart”

The following is something David wrote that literally tells us unequivocally how to walk through life under God’s protective hand, (also referred to as dwelling under the shadow of the Almighty) so that no harm will befall you, and you will go through life with God’s blessings overtaking you where ever you go.

The 91st Psalms is short but incredibly significant, and is basically in two parts.

1. He describes the nature of the protection, then he tells you how anyone can qualify for it by taking some very simple steps. The first part of the 91st Psalms says this:

God Will Provide Scripture

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (Psalms 91:1 Amplified Bible)

I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust! For it is He who delivers you from the snare the trapper, (Satan) and from the deadly pestilence. (Psalms 91:2,3 New American Standard)

He covers you with his feathers, and you find shelter underneath his wings. (Psalms 91:4 Jerusalem Bible) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow [the evil plots and slanders of the wicked] that flies by day…(Psalms 91:5 Amplified)… nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. (Psalms 91:6 New International Version)

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not approach you…you yourself will remain unscathed…it shall not come near you…(Psalms 91:7 New American Standard-Jerusalem Bible-Amplified Bible) … you will only observe with your eyes… only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked. (Psalms 91:8 New International Version-Amplified Bible)

No evil will befall you… (Psalms 91:10 New American Standard) No disaster can overtake you, no plague, come near your tent: he will put you in his angels’ charge to guard you wherever you go. (Psalms 91:11 Jerusalem Bible)

How To Find Inner Peace In A Troubled World

Find Inner Peace and Have Peace Of Mind In Your Life

Want to know how to find inner peace and have peace of mind in your life on a daily basis? Two thousand years ago an angel appeared to shepherds abiding in a field, watching over their flocks by night. Clothed in glorious light, his sudden appearance terrified them. He greeted them with these words, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” No sooner were these words spoken when suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Find Inner Peace Through Jesus Christ

This announcement by the heavenly host to the inhabitants of earth significantly tied May You Find Peace

together the birth of the Son of God into our world, and the peace the world so desperately needs. “Peace on earth to those on whom His favor rest.” they declared. If having peace in ones life comes only to those on whom His favor rests, the question would be,

“How do I get His favor to rest on me so I can find inner peace?”

The reality is, that no matter what a man may aspire to, be it fame, riches, power, or anything else this world has to offer, there is no inner peace to be found therein. If a person does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, peace will always be momentary and fleeting and you will never find inner peace for any length of time. Why? Simply because of mankind’s inherent fear of death. There can be no true and lasting peace in the heart of a man, while the inevitable specter of the grave lies ever before him.

But God loved us too much to leave us to the grave, nor would He allow those who are His to live a life never knowing the inner peace He would have us live in. So this is what He did so you can enjoy and find inner peace.

“Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.” (Hebrews 2:14 & 15 Amplified Bible)

Before Jesus came to earth, the Bible states that the Devil had the power of death. It was by Find Peace Within

going through death that Jesus took from him the power of death. Before the world was created, God, who knows the end from the beginning, knew that one day in eternity, He would have to go through an unimaginable death by crucifixion in order to take from the enemy of man, the power of death. By doing this, He broke the chains of bondage that held mankind in its grip, because of the fear of eternal death.

Jesus in turn, has placed the power of life or death back into our hands. Every one of us has the power to accept what God has done for us, and choose life. Placing ones destiny in the Hands of God brings peace that surpasses all understanding and is the only way to find inner peace. Of course, we also have the power to reject the Lordship of Christ, and by so doing, declare that we have chosen instead to be our own gods. This decision leads to eternal death. The point is, that the power is in our hands. God says, “Choose life, that you and your seed might live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Rest On God’s Promise and Find Inner Peace

God has promised that if we trust and believe in what Jesus Christ has done for us by His death and resurrection, the grave will not hold us. At the appointed time, when Jesus returns to the earth, He has promised to resurrect all who have chosen Him as their Lord and Savior. Only by knowing with complete certainty that your eternal destiny is sealed by God, and that you are destined to live forever, will you ever know lasting inner peace. Jesus must have thought it was worth it; how can we not.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Before He left the earth, Jesus gave this gift to all who believe and trust in Him

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27 NKJV)

God’s Presence-Experiencing God’s Presence In Your Life

Bible Verses About Feeling God's Presence

Practicing God’s Presence

Is God in your life today and are you conscious of God’s presence in your life? The bible scripture states,

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). (Matthew 1:23 NIV)

Get up every day knowing that God is by your side and is always with you and experience the feeling of God’s presence in your life. When God makes a promise to you He never breaks it. God makes this promise to you:

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

When you establish a relationship with God and invite Him into your life, it “activate”s God’s power and you will begin to live a restful and peaceful life. Take time every day to give God thanks and praise in everything, and make Him part of your life. The favor of God will be upon you manifesting an unbelievable joy and peace, prospering you in every area of your life.

Where Is God When Tragedy Strikes

Why does God allow suffering

Why does God allow suffering

Where Is God When Tragedy Strikes

As the horror of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut continues to unfold (December 2012), we are once again faced with the painful question, “Why did God allow this to happen?” Where is God when tragedy strikes? It is commonly believed by most people who believe in God, that because He is “all mighty” and “all powerful”, that His failure to act when tragedy strikes, makes Him actively or passively responsible for not preventing the tragedy from occurring. In order to cope with the staggering contradiction of a “loving God” who allows terrible things to happen in our world, many well meaning men of the clergy try to console us with words like, “It must have been God’s will!” or, “God works in mysterious ways, we don’t always know why He allows things to happen, but we must have faith that He has a higher purpose!”

Fortunately for all of us, neither of these statements are true, because if either of them were, it means we are dealing with a God who has stacked the deck, and is nothing more than an all powerful puppeteer, much like the gods the Greeks and Romans worshipped.

So why then, if God is “sovereign” over all creation, does He not interfere when terrible things are about to happen on planet Earth? Why did He allow the Holocaust? Why does He not prevent devastating hurricanes or tornado’s? Why does He allow children to die at the hands of a mentally deranged psychopath? The list of “whys” goes on and on.

In order to understand the answer to this question, we would have to be willing lay aside the traditional, though flawed explanations, that we have been so willing to accept as true, when we know they raise more questions than they answer.

The answer to all the “whys” concerning God’s failure to act the way we think He should in certain circumstances, lies in the very first chapter of the very first book of the Bible, the book of Genesis.

In the account of the creation of our world, we find that God purposed to transfer sovereignty over the Earth and everything in it, from Himself to the human race.

“Then God said,:

“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” (Genesis 1:26-28 NKJV)

Definition of sovereignty – the state of being free from the control or power of another.

Related Words: emancipation, enfranchisement, liberation, manumission.

The Bible also tells us that “the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29) This means that even though mankind fell from grace in the Garden of Eden, the sovereignty that God gave to mankind over the planet and over all of human affairs remains to this day in the hands of each and every one of us, God did not take sovereignty over the planet back when sin entered the world. In giving our race a free will, as well as dominion and sovereignty over the planet, like it or not, the buck stops with us. God remains blameless concerning the good and evil that impacts our daily lives, because we, not God, create the good or evil that occurs on our world. Does God have the raw power to interfere and stop terrible things from happening? Of course He does, but only at the cost of breaking His own word; and as much as He is saddened by much of what goes on here, this He cannot do. What happens here is on us, not on God.

God’s love for us is beyond our understanding. When we suffer, He suffers, when we weep, He weeps. Yet the Bible tells us that God has placed His Word above His name. In the end, it is not about might and power. It is about the free will of man and what we, as the sovereigns over this world choose to do with it. It is unfortunate that the righteous suffer at the hands of evil men. Soon, God will put an end to evil and to all evil men. Until then we should not hold God accountable for what the sovereignty of men have chose to do with it.

How To Pray Effectively

Prayers To God – How To Pray Effectively

How to pray effectively when offering prayers to God? It’s real simple. Not a lot of formality is required nor rituals involved. That’s right, God wants to hear from you now. The Bible tells us, “Men ought always to pray!” (Luke 18:1) God wants us to pray always, to tell Him about the things we want and/or need. What’s that you ask? If God is all powerful and He knows what we want and/or need before we ask, why do we have to pray to ask Him for them? Sounds pointless right?

The answer to that question is simple. God gave the human race complete authority in the earth. In fact, the Bible says that God gave our first parents ‘dominion over all the earth’.

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth” (Genesis 1:26 NKJV)

Because we humans have dominion in the earth, God will not interfere with our free will, or get involved in our lives unless we ask Him to. That’s where prayers to God come in. And because God loves us so much and really does want to be involved in our lives, He has given us prayer as a means by which we can invite Him to get involved in our lives.

How To Pray Effectively-What We Shouldn’t Do

Most of the time it is easy for us to know what we want to pray for or about, but not everyone is sure about how to pray, so that they can be sure that God will hear them. Believe it or not, there are actually wrong ways to pray. The Bible tells us not only how we should pray to God, but things we shouldn’t do when we pray. Here are some of the things that the Bible has to say about praying, and what we should and shouldn’t do when we pray. Keep reading >>>
