God Has A Plan

God Has A Plan For YouGod Has A Plan For Your Life

Are you feeling down today? Perhaps a little depressed or even lonely? Whatever might ail you today, find comfort knowing that God has a plan for you. I know from experience that it is not easy sometimes to “snap” yourself out of these emotions. You feel paralyzed and helpless. So what should you do?

Turn to Jesus and His word. Spend time each day meditating on the word of God. By doing this you will be drawing near to God and when you do, God will draw near to you.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”. (James 4:8 NKJV)

God Has A Plan For You – God’s Promise

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”(Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)

Once you enter into a relationship with God, you’ll see how your life will begin to turn around. Your state of mind will be refreshed and rejuvenated through the Holy Spirit who resides in you. You will be better able to focus more clearly on your future and see that good things are in front of you. Your worse days will now be behind you.

God has a plan for you. His promise to you as stated in the scripture above is God has a plan, plans to “prosper you….and to give you hope and a future”. You know He would not make a promise He could not keep. So instead of focusing on when the “promise to prosper you” will happen, focus instead and rest on His unconditional love. Allow His love to manifest and take root deep down in your heart knowing God will give you’re the very desires of your heart.

Since you can’t see into the future what’s the point of trying to do so. That’s God’s job. He has your future all planned out. He has you covered. So your journey now has nothing to do with any setbacks you may encounter along the way. And chances are you will experience some setbacks. But instead focus on your journey in Christ Jesus. Find comfort knowing that the Creator of the universe goes before you and makes your crooked places straight.

“I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight” (Isaiah 45:2 KJV)

So let God “deal” with your future. Get excited that your future is bright. Keep your dreams alive. And dare to dream big. It’s not over until God says it’s over. God will pour out his blessings and favor over you and you will live an abundant life.

True Meaning of Christmas-The Real Meaning of Christmas

True Meaning Of Christmas

The true meaning of Christmas began more than two thousand years ago when the Lord of all Creation, the God of all that exists, asked His only Son to lay down His crown and come to planet Earth. Through the miracle of incarnation, He would be born of a virgin in small town called Bethlehem, His birthing place a stable, His bed, a manger. His name would be called Jesus. He would be a stranger in the world that He created, an alien among those whom He made in His own image and likeness. His mission, to reconcile a lost and dying world back to His Father God, to redeem any and all who would hear His voice and rise to the high calling of becoming the Sons of God.

Every twenty fifth of December, we celebrate the birth of the Son of God into our world. Yet there are so many that do not fully understand the significance of this greatest of all events in Earth’s history. For so many, the day has become associated with festive decorum, the buying, selling and giving of presents, the decorating of Christmas trees, and the visiting of relatives we get to see once a year whether we want to or not. For some, the holiday season is one of sadness, loneliness and depression, also due to not understanding or not believing that “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself“…and that, “God sent His son into the world, that the world through Him might be saved.” (2 Corinthians 5:19 & John 3:17)

Jesus revealed to the world the character and nature of God the Father. A love so great, that when the only way the world could be saved was for Him to give his only Son to pay for the sins of man, He did not hesitate. The true meaning of Christmas is understanding that the great love that God has for us could leave no stone unturned to save us. Consider, that if Jesus knew that only one person who has ever lived would accept His sacrifice, He would still have come to Earth and endured all that the cross held in store for Him, even if it meant that only that one person would be saved from eternal death.

True Meaning Of Christmas – A Season For Giving

This Christmas season, let us try to share the love of God with others. A kind deed, a need fulfilled, a helping hand, even a sacrifice or two if necessary. Let us endeavor to emulate the selfless love that Christ had for us, a love so unfathomable, that when He saw the plight of man, in spite of all He knew He would suffer at the hands of sinful men, He turned to His Father and said, “Yes Father, I will go.”

How Can I Find God

How Can I Find God

In the heart of every human being is a God-shaped void. A void that can only be filled by the God who created us. Churches around the world are filled with people crying out “how can I find God”. And though God is completely aware of us down to the finest details of our lives, for a variety of reasons, many cannot seem to “find Him”.

Help Me Find God

Depending on others to help one find God is doomed to be a futile venture. This is because, God is not lost. In fact, if our spiritual eyes were opened, we would find that God is surrounding us every moment of every day, waiting for us to invite Him into our lives. Contrary to what many churches teach, and what many people erroneously believe, God is not sovereign in our lives unless we want Him to be, and make it known to Him that we How Can I Find God

do.

In the third chapter of Revelation verse 20, Jesus said, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Finding God Is Easy

Kind of amazing that the One who created all things, including us, is putting forth an invitation like this. Obviously, if He is standing at the door of your heart, you don’t need to go looking for Him. If God is knocking, then it must be up to us to open the door to let Him in. The problem with the request, “How can I find God”, is that in reality, no one can help you find Him because He is always there with you.

Finding God is easy, learning what He is like is another matter. As in any relationship, the only way to get to know someone is to spend time with them. And there is one prerequisite God has for getting to know Him, God said, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

God wants you to get to know all about Him. He has completely revealed Himself through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “he that has seen me has seen the Father”. All that we need to know concerning what God is like was revealed through Jesus. If you really want God in your life, get to know Jesus. As He said, He stands at the door of your heart and knocks. All you have to do is talk to Him in prayer, He will do the rest.

Keep in mind, as in any relationship, it will take time for you to get to know Him. But if you are faithful to seek above all things to get to know Him, He will surely reveal Himself to you, and you will never again have to say, “Help me find God.”

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” – Matthew 7:7 & 8
