So Here’s What You Need To Do To Alleviate Feeling Hopeless and Lost
You need to do very little. The first bible verse of the day talks about drawing near to God. God’s intention was not to make establishing a relationship with Him complicated. Establishing a relationship with God is no more complicated than establishing a relationship with a friend. Contrary to what you may of read or heard, God does not require you to do any “heavy lifting”, there are no steps to follow, tests to take or even any rituals you have to perform for Him. All God wants you to do is hear (or read) the Gospel (“Good News”) and just BELIEVE.
The power of hearing and believing the Gospel leads to salvation, for everyone who believes. Jesus says in John 6:35 (see below) that if you come to Him you will never “hunger” for anything and if you BELIEVE you will never “thirst” (have desires that are not met). Today, get in agreement with God and His word and make Him first place in your life. As you draw near to Him, He will then draw near to you.
Bible Verse Of The Day – Filled With the Fullness of Jesus
Ephesians 3:19 NKJV to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
How can I be filled with the fullness of God? My life is void of any happiness or peace and no matter how often I pray or try to change things, nothing seems to change for me. Friend, you are not experiencing the “fullness of God” because of your effort or anything you are not doing. In order to be filled with the fullness of God, you need to know the love of Christ. The more you meditate on the depth of Jesus Christ’s love for you, and the more you feed on His love, the more you will experience Jesus’ fullness and blessings will flow your way.
Bible Verse Of The Day – Jesus The Bread Of Life
John 6:35 NKJV And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
Bible Verse Of The Day – Salvation For All Who Believe
Romans 1:16 NKJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…
I gather since you are reading these Bible Verses Of The Day, chances are you are reaching out asking “help me God“. It all starts with resting on our Lord Jesus Christ and trusting and believing in His word.
Bible Verse Of The Day – God’s Unconditional Love For You and Everlasting Life
John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
How much does God love you? The depth of God’s love for you is incomprehensible to the human mind. If you have children then you can try to imagine taking their life as God did for you (us) with His Son, Jesus Christ. Friend, wake up every day knowing God loves you more than you can ever imagine.Yes you are truly loved.
Bible Verse Of The Day – God Strengthens You In Times Of Weakness
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
God, the Creator of the Universe specifically tells you not to be afraid that He is always with you. He freely provides you strength and wisdom to get through anything that life throws at you each and every day. Meditate on God’s abundance of love for you and draw comfort and strength knowing He will NEVER leave you.
Bible Verse Of The Day – God’s Plans For You
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
When you are hurting, God (your Father) is hurting too. God has awesome plans for you, He promises to protect you and wants you to know your future is bright. So then you ask “what do I need to do for God to help me?” How should I pray to God? Or I often pray to God but why doesn’t God answer my prayers?
Bible Verse Of The Day – Salvation Comes From The Gift Of Grace By Faith
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
There is nothing you need to do today but believe Jesus Christ died for your sins. Confess He is your Lord and Savoir and know His gift of grace is given to you freely. Grace is God’s undeserved and unmerited favor poured out for you by His son Jesus Christ at the Cross. It’s available to all who have faith and believe.
Bible Verse Of The Day – A Psalm of David
–An All-encompassing Bible Verse Of The Day-If you ever wondered what the heart of our God is like, Psalm 23 beautifully depicts the True God. No matter how many times I read this passage, it always “stirs” the Holy Spirit who dwells in me (and you) and makes me feel how blessed and loved I am. My hope as your relationship with God develops, you will feel as I do. If you already have a relationship with God then you can relate to this. And if you don’t, c’mon what are you waiting for? :-)
Psalm 23:1-6 (NKJV) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell[a] in the house of the Lord
