Peace of Mind In Your Life

Finding Peace Of Mind In Your Daily Life When You Rest In God

Is finding peace of mind in your life a daunting task? Are you looking to simplify your life and desire peace of mind in your life? Have you heard the expression, “let go and let God”? Well that sounds simple right? Well you should know that this exactly what Jesus wants from you. He wants you to rely and rest on Him totally (100%) and He will do the rest. Make it a point today to stop laboring and worrying about things of this world but rather focus your energy on His unconditional love for you. Invite God into your life and make Him first place and enjoy the abundance of grace He freely gives you.true lasting peace of mindMatthew 6:25-34

For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the peace of mind - why worrybody more than clothing? “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? “And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you?

You of little faith! “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

simplify your life with peace of mind

Each and every day God provides you with enough of His favor to take care of the day’s needs. Find rest and peace in Him. Do not worry about tomorrow and know His favor will be there for you then. Once you truly understand this and allow it to manifest and take root in your spirit, then and only then can you have true lasting peace of mind in your life.

God Is Loving, Merciful and Faithful

God Is Loving, Merciful and Faithful

Our God is so loving, so merciful, so faithful. Even when we become too discouraged to believe, God does not forget what He promised you. The true God can not make a promise to you and not follow through on it. Never, ever!

“Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive.” (Genesis 30:22, NIV)

How to find inner peace with god

Do you feel discouraged today? Is your life not what you envisioned or planned it to be? Have you prayed, believed and worked hard, and things did not worked out as planned?

Are You Entering “Never-Land”

Now you’re probably thinking, “I’m never going to be happy again. I’ll never be married. I’ll never accomplish my dreams”, I’ll never get a promotion” ….

Remember today, not only does God remember you, He remembers the promise He placed within you. And God would not place a desire in your heart if He was not going to let the desire come to pass. It takes patience (faith) on your part and in His time will make your dream a reality.

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4 NKJV

He knows what He’s destined you to do. You may have already said, “Forget it; it’s never going to happen.” The good news is that you don’t have the final say. God has the final say, and He says, “What I started in your life, I’m going to finish.” That dream you gave up on, God didn’t give up on. He remembers you, and He is with you, leading you and guiding you to the place of victory.

I produced a video to the classic song “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. It reminds me of how God is in the midst of your life and how deep His love is for us. The songs always lifts my spirits-Enjoy and experience the love and presence of God in your life!

God vs Satan

God Vs Satan – Does Satan Have Power Over You?

For many who do not know what the Scriptures have to say about God vs Satan and how Satan came to be the enemy of God and man, great confusion and misunderstanding surround the devil, and whether or not he has any power over men today. The answer to that question is that Satan has no power over us that we don’t give him. However, before Jesus came to the earth, the devil’s power over men the human race was great, because he was the legal, though malevolent spiritual father of the human race. The Bible refers to him as “The Prince of the power of the air.” (Ephesians 2:2) But Jesus made very clear that His purpose in coming to earth was to forever end Satan’s reign of tyranny over the human race.

Should We Be Afraid Of The Devil?

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

Jesus referred to the devil as a thief who has only three goals in his dealings with humanity. Jesus said

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Since Jesus defeated him by dieing on the cross in our place, the only power the devil has over us is the power of a lie. However, every time we entertain his lies, we empower him to come into the circumstances of our lives and reek havoc. But Jesus won for us the authority over the devil, so that his power over us has been reduced to only what we allow it to be. The following scriptures make it clear that the devil’s power over us has been decimated.

“[God] disarmed the principalities and powers ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him (Christ) and in it [the cross]. (Colossians 2:15 Amplified Bible).

Thank the Father because you are privileged to share the lot of the saints who are living in the light. For he rescued us from the power of darkness, and re-established us in the kingdom of his beloved Son. (Colossians 1:12,13 Phillips Modern English)

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and (physical and mental strength and ability) over all the power that the enemy [possesses], and no thing shall in any way harm you. (Luke 10:19 Amplified Bible)

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”  (James 4:7)

We must always remember that God does not expect us to contend with the devil for a place of victory, because Jesus has already won that battle for us; a battle that we had no chance of winning on our own. But God does expect us to contend with the devil from our position of victory. We have the power to either give the devil license in our circumstances by submitting to sin, or cause him to flee from us by resisting his attempts at getting us to cross the line into sin.

Belief In God Even Though We Can Not See Him

Belief In God – Believing In A God We Cannot See

Belief in God – Soon after Jesus resurrected, He appeared to His disciples and instructed them to go out into the world with the good news that God had forgiven all the sins of men, and eternal life awaited all who would believe. On that day however, one of his disciples, Thomas, was not with them. When the other disciples told Thomas that the Lord was risen from the dead and had appeared to them, Thomas did not believe them. The story goes something like this:

“So the other disciples told him (Thomas), “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”A week later his disciples were in the house again and belief in GodThomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” (John 20:25-29 NIV)

Belief In God Even Though You Can’t See Him

Many people have asked, How can I believe in a God I cannot see?” Yet the Bible tells us that the existence of God is made plain throughout all of nature.

“For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiwork’s). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification, Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.” (Romans 1:20 & 21 AMPLIFIED BIBLE)

When God appeared to mankind in the form of His Son Jesus, (“God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself.” 2 Corinthians 5:19) the world at large still did not accept or believe in Him. He healed terminally ill people, He even raised the dead on several occasions, yet they still refused to believe Him. What should God do than? Should He exercise His great might and power and appear to us like some Genie out of a lamp and fill the sky with His presence in order to get us to believe?

If men do not believe in God when everything around us testifies of His existence, than even if He appeared to them in the greatness of His might and power, they still wouldn’t believe; and those who did would do so out of fear of Him, not out of love for all that He has done to win us back to Him after our first parents elected to reject Him in favor of being their own gods.

And for all those in the scientific community who would try to get us to swallow that there is no God, but rather that we evolved out of a succession of cosmic accidents, the Bible has only one thing to say, in fact it says it twice: “The fool hath said in his heart, “there is no God”.” (Psalms 14:1 & Psalms 53:1)

And if you are among those who prefer to align themselves with the idea that our existence came about as a result of time, evolution and a succession of cosmic accidents, consider this, even those in the scientific community who would have us believe this mindless tripe, admit that the odds that life came about as a result of a succession of cosmic accidents, are approximately the same as Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary coming into existence as a result of an explosion in a printing shop.

The Apostle Paul summed it up this way:

“We walk by faith, not by sight…”(2 Corinthians 5:7)

Jesus I need your help

Once you take this step, you activate your faith and God will draw near to you and things will begin to change.

Jesus Help Me Establish A Relationship With You Today

So how can I establish a relationship with God you ask? The first thing I recommend is get into the word of God everyday and meditate and “feed” on it. Check out our blog and the articles on this site. This doesn’t have to be a lengthy or complicated process (and don’t

God Please Help Me

make it one). Take a minute or two out each and every day to give thanks to God for something (anything). Surely you have something to give God thanks for. The more time you spend in the word of God the closer you will draw near to Him and the more God will intervene in your life and will pour out His abundance of favor on you.

Remember that God is not a vending machine and wants you to want Him in your life. and have a relationship with Him. So you just can’t “hit up God” like you would a vending machine when you need something quick to eat and all of a sudden expect all you problems will be fixed. No it doesn’t work that way.

Your Heavenly Father Knows What All Your Needs Are

God promises that when you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, ALL things shall be added to you. God makes this promise to us all and would never make a promise He would not keep.

“For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:32-34

So today, continue to seek the kingdom of God. Make God first place in your life and find rest and peace in Him and make today a day to remember and real purpose to your life.
