But He did extend a wonderful invitation to anyone willing to take Him up on it. The Bible says:Help Me FInd God and God Please Help Me

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8 (KJV)

What’s really great about this invitation is that there are no prerequisites or conditions attached to it. All we have to do is make up our minds that we want to get to know Him.

How Can I Find God

“But how do I draw near to Him?” you ask. The answer is very simple. First, keep in mind that God knows every thought you think and He hears every word that comes out of your mouth. So He already knows what’s in your heart and mind. But also know, that as much as He wants to help you, you must ask Him to. That’s where prayer comes in. So if you are asking where can I find God, it is easy. All you have to do is talk to Him, and believe that He hears you. You don’t have to go to a church, you don’t have to go through any rituals or ceremonies, in fact, you don’t even have to get down on your knees.

Finding God is really easy. It really is. No we are not oversimplifying it. This is how He meant it to be. All you have to do is talk to him the way you would talk to anyone who you know loves you enough to die for you. What’s that you say? You don’t know anyone who loves you enough to die for you? Well guess what! Now you do!

So are still asking where can I find God? Just in case you are all you have to do to find Him is purpose in your heart to get to know Him, ask Him to come into your life and be a part of it, and He will do the rest!

Some people have said, well “I have prayed to God many times, but I have gotten no answers, and nothing has changed in my life” So where can I find God? You must keep in mind that God is not a vending machine, nor is He a Genie that’s there to grant your three wishes. If all you are praying for is for God to use His might and power to give you the things you are asking Him for, you are wasting your time. But if you sincerely want to have a relationship with Him and you ask Him to help you change your life for the better, He will be there for you before the words finish leaving your lips.

“Whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” (John 6:37 T(IV)

And for those who might think that God will not hear their prayer because of all the terrible things they may have done in their lives, I have good news for you. Stop condemning yourself as all condemnation and sin (past, present and future) was washed away at the Cross. Instead turn to God and rest in Him. God says:

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18 KJV)

I produced a video to the classic song “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. It reminds me of God’s love for us and always lifts my spirits-Enjoy and experience the love of God!
